Dr Omid Zarghom is a consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with consulting rooms in Bella Vista.
After completing his physician training at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Dr Zarghom trained nationally at The Royal Melbourne and Western Hospitals in Melbourne.
Internationally, he trained at The University of Toronto, Canada, where he obtained his Fellowship in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
Dr Zarghom has extensive experience in the management of complex gastrointestinal diseases, including Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s disease.
He has a special interest in diagnostic and therapeutic Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy, in addition to Pillcam (capsule endoscopy), Coeliac disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
Dr Zarghom’s practice encompasses all aspects of gastroenterology and liver diseases, including fatty liver.
He is fluent in English and Farsi.
